About Me

My amazing dog, Opie, who helped me through my own healing.

Hey there, I’m Kelly. I am a licensed professional counselor candidate and a certified clinical trauma professional.

I’ve known I wanted to become a counselor since high school psychology class introduced me to the power of healing. A movie about Childhelp USA, an organization dedicated to ending child abuse and neglect, sparked something in me. I felt a deep pull to support children who need a safe and caring space. That early inspiration still guides my work today, reminding me why trust and connection matter so deeply.

My clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and nonjudgmental. I aim to create a space where you or your child can feel safe enough to explore, express, and grow.

Walking into a room to share your most personal thoughts with someone you’ve just met can feel overwhelming. That’s why I focus on building a genuine, supportive connection from the start. I believe healing begins when you feel truly safe, seen, and understood. From that place of trust, we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work together toward the goals that matter most to you.

If this sounds like the type of counselor you are looking for, I’d love to connect!
